POABSThe POABS GROUP took its origin in 1962 as a contracting firm known as POABSONS later diversified into multi disciplinary business activities under the leadership of the Founder & Chairman P. A JACOB.

As a successful entrepreneur, he has achieved several heights of diversified business activities. The companies are focusing on various activities like Granite Mining and Crushing, Ready-mix Concrete, Plantation and Farming, Organic Bio Manure and Fertilizer manufacturing, Municipal Waste Management, Engineering and Contracting, Wood based Industry and Furniture production. And also placing a golden step into Tourism Industry.

POABS Group the pioneers in organic farming in India are the proud owners of the internationally acclaimed POABS Organic estates. Nestled in the misty folds of the majestic Nelliyampathy Hills in Palakkad district of Kerala the plantation is spread over an area of 865.54 acres. It is the largest Internationally Certified Perennial  Multi crop Organic Farm in the world.

Its eco-buddy approach has paid rich dividends in the form of several coveted awards both in the National and International arena. International SUSTAINABILITY AWARD 2007 from Specialty Coffee Association of America is the latest feather to top its cap and accolades including DEMETER, SCAL, JAS and FAIRTRADE within a short period of time. The plantation produces Pepper, Coffee, Tea & Green Tea, Cardamom etc. Apart from this, the estate is recipient of several awards for  Specialty Coffee: The Flavor of India, The Fine Cup Award and other competitions since 2003.
 
POABSPoabs Group was the first and the only company to invest in a municipal waste management project at Poabs Envirotech in Kerala and now has joint ventures with major companies to take up larger projects in major cities in India.

The pioneering efforts in soil healthcare management, POABS engaged into the production of Organic Maure, Bio Fertilizers and Bio Control Agents.

Ready Mix

Poabs was the first company to establish Ready Mix Concrete for commercial sales in Trivandrum. It is located at Moonnamoodu, Vattiyoorkavu, Trivandrum. Poabs Ready Mix ensures highest quality concrete to their customers by using  M-Sand & equally dimensioned aggregates which is specifically shaped using Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) .Concrete produced here in batching plant is transported to the construction site using German made transit mixers.

Organic Shop
POABS is maintaining an Exclusive Organic Shop at Muttada-Nalanchira Road, Thiruvananthapuram. An array of organic range of products such as organic coffee & Tea, Green tea, Spices, Honey, Rice & Rice products etc. are on sale.
